How Data Flows

  1. The browser extension sends the active tab's domain and title to the WorkSight desktop agent running locally on your computer (localhost:27182)
  2. The desktop agent authenticates with the WorkSight server and syncs the data
  3. Data is stored securely on WorkSight servers hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  4. Data is used to generate productivity reports, focus scores, and activity categorization in your WorkSight dashboard

The extension itself never communicates directly with any external server. All data passes through the locally-installed desktop agent first.
